We are looking for an Independent Living Coordinator to work within the Independent Living Team at our scheme in Worthen, Shropshire. We seek an experienced, caring, highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in people. This accommodation‑based role requires on‑site presence in the estate hub to support residents in their homes and manage the community space at the centre of the estate. We want a team member who can instigate activities and create a sense of community while engaging and including everyone.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver intensive housing management, including monitoring income and managing tenancies.
  • Provide high‑quality support to residents of the estate.
  • Manage the communal space of the scheme.
  • Ensure the role complies with an enhanced DBS check.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience in independent living, housing management, or a related field.
  • Caring, highly motivated, and excellent communication skills.
  • Genuine interest in people and community engagement.
  • Successful completion of an enhanced DBS check.
