Change Grow Live (CGL) is a charity dedicated to supporting Service Users in a safe and respectful environment. We seek an enthusiastic and friendly person to join our team as a Floating Support Recovery Worker in Nottinghamshire. In this role you will work with clients in structured treatment who are entering or are on a path to enter a housing crisis. You will support the Housing Team across the South of Nottinghamshire, hold a caseload of service users in drug and/or alcohol treatment, and help colleagues develop their skills.

Location: Nottinghamshire, travel required throughout the south region.

Hours: Part time, 30 hours per week.

Contract: Fixed term until 31 March 2028. Full-time hours at CGL are 37.5 hours per week; part‑time pay is pro‑rata.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish effective communication and referral pathways for individuals at risk of homelessness and in contact with other health and care agencies.
  • Provide wrap‑around support in emergency/temporary/supported accommodations across the area.
  • Prioritise caseload according to crisis intervention needs and severity.
  • Attend relevant multi‑disciplinary team meetings to support links to health, social care services, peer support networks, community assets and mutual aid.
  • Work closely with the local authority, health & social care sector, partners and other provisions linked to preventing homelessness and improving joint working.
  • Increase and enhance partnership working with primary care, mental health services, housing and voluntary organisations supporting individuals at risk of losing tenancies.
  • Provide wrap‑around support on budgeting, education, training and employment while supporting engagement in structured services.

About You:

  • Understanding and knowledge of the harmful effects associated with drug and alcohol use in relation to health, social welfare, housing, employment and personal relationships.
  • Minimum of 12 months experience facilitating successful tenancy sustainment and working to achieve positive community connections.
  • Experience engaging with a wide variety of individuals with diverse backgrounds and needs.
  • The ability to work with and manage challenging behaviour.
