Role Overview
An experienced professional will join the Clydesdale Team within Housing Services. As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of housing services to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide housing services related to homelessness, allocations, estate management, rent recovery, and anti‑social behaviour
- Apply current legislation and best practice when managing housing issues
- Use excellent IT skills to organise and prioritise workload, respond and adapt to changing priorities
- Communicate effectively with customers and liaise with a range of agencies
- Meet the five specific behaviours framework: Efficient, Flexible, Leading, Working with Others, Performing
Qualifications
- Experience working within a housing related environment
- Knowledge of homelessness legislation, allocations, estate management, rent recovery, and anti‑social behaviour
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities
- Proficiency in IT systems required for the role
