This part-time opportunity has arisen to provide maternity cover within our Housing Resource Team. While this is a fixed-term opportunity, the role itself is a well-established and integral position within the housing structure.
As part of this key team, you will work directly with applicants, including residents who have been decanted from their homes due to major works or other circumstances. You will play a vital role in supporting individuals through the housing allocation process, providing advice, responding to enquiries, and ensuring a smooth transition into suitable accommodation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting applicants throughout the rehousing journey
- Administering Disturbance Allowance payments and Removals Assistance applications
- Providing tailored, sensitive support to residents, particularly those who may be vulnerable
- Working closely with colleagues and partner agencies to deliver positive housing outcomes
