We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic House Manager to support students at school, making a positive impact on their lives. Working with young people within a set house group, the House Manager will build positive relationships with students, providing them with a safe and supportive space. They will also be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of young people by providing basic first aid support.
The role will involve having a strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and involve signposting students and families to external support if required.
Ryde Academy, based on the Isle of Wight, is an 11 to 18 years Secondary Academy and is sponsored by Lift Schools. The school is set in spacious grounds and had a completely new state of the art building in 2017. Judged as 'Good' by Ofsted in November 2022, Ryde Academy is a school that pupils feel proud to attend, with a calm and orderly environment. Staff are also proud to work at the school and recognise that leaders are considerate of their workload.
