Job Overview
Providing housing management service, you will support customers with tenancy, rent accounts, and help them move on to secure long‑term accommodation.
What you'll do
- Make sure customer properties are homes they can be proud of, engaging and involving them in their tenancies.
- Help customers with housing benefit claims, ensuring they are received on their rent account.
- Issue and sign warning letters and notices where necessary, which may lead to attending court.
- Turn around vacant or void rooms/bed spaces/properties within set timescales to maximise occupancy.
- Ensure health and safety compliance and maintenance standards are met.

Qualifications and Experience
- Experience managing a housing caseload and handling landlord and housing management duties.
- Know‑how of re‑letting rooms or units, collecting rents, and taking formal tenancy action when needed.
- Able to take on a lead role within the team, offering guidance and support to colleagues.
- The ability to work independently, positively influencing people from all backgrounds.
- Confident collaborating with colleagues in other parts of the business and external partners.
The Practical Bits
- Working 5 days out of 7 (including some weekends) on a rolling rota, shift time 10am to 6pm.
- Based at our Exeter service, also spending time working with customers at move‑on properties in the city centre.
- Must be able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims, and sign‑ups.
- Required to have an Enhanced DBS check (which we cover).
