An exciting opportunity for an Estate Coordinator to join our Facilities team on a permanent basis. The role can be based out of our Darlington or London office (hybrid working). Railpen currently occupy two offices across the UK, this role is to support both of our locations and travel between them all is a must.
Railpen is responsible for the safekeeping and investment of around £34 billion in assets and the administration of several pension schemes, including the Railways Pension Scheme, one of the UK's largest and longest established pension funds. As the Estate Coordinator you will ensure our office spaces are a suitable environment for all Railpen colleagues, visitors and contractors to a standard that complies with all regulations and aligns to our values. Within this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the planned preventative maintenance schedule for all locations and general facilities maintenance including coordinating with external vendors for specialised maintenance and repair services, liaising with contractors regarding repairs and overseeing work completed and conducting regular inspections to ensure our offices and locations are safe, clean and well maintained.
The successful candidate will have experience of working within a similar role and will be up to date with H&S regulations and requirements. You will be highly skilled in verbal and written communication and have excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage a number of conflicting priorities. We are looking for a person who is people-focused and who is able to engage with internal and external customers in a professional and efficient manner. The ability to multi-task is key along with having a positive attitude, a strong work ethic with a passion for going the extra mile.
