Your Role

School Premises Officer Required for 1st June 2026

Full time/Permanent NJC Pt 4 (Range 4-6)

The Governors of this small friendly school seek to appoint a school Premises Officer to work alongside the site manager. The successful candidate will join a welcoming, established and hard‑working team.

Responsibilities

  • Keeping the school site secure
  • General maintenance and cleaning
  • Support with deliveries

You will be expected to maintain high standards and to take pride in the school environment and to be proactive in ensuring the highest level of health and safety in all aspects of the role.

Hours and Schedule

The role is full time, 37 hours per week with hours to be agreed to ensure that at least one member of the site team is on site during required hours. This will mean a split shift to support opening up and securing the site daily.

  • Basic Health & Safety Certificate (desirable)
