Within the Independent Living programme areas, the successful person will need to be enthusiastic and flexible to support the learners within a range of life and work skills such as cooking, everyday living skills, gardening, literacy, numeracy, IT, citizenship, personal and social development and work skills at Pre Entry - level 1. There may be a need to support learners with practical and physical difficulties during break times if and when required.

  • Holiday Entitlement: Pro rata paid holiday in each academic year, 8 Bank and Public Holidays, up to 5 efficiency days (subject to change), pro rata full time equivalent entitlement of 28 days included in hourly rate.
  • Working Pattern: 20 hours per week (Monday to Wednesday), 31 weeks per year during the college term.
