Equans is looking for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to join our team in Croydon on a full‑time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting residents and clients across social housing and regeneration projects, ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience throughout the delivery of improvement and maintenance works. As a Resident Liaison Officer, you will act as the main point of contact between residents, our site team, and project managers – helping to minimise disruption, manage expectations, and maintain strong relationships within the local community. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, keeping them informed of planned works, schedules, and progress.
- Work closely with site managers and supervisors to ensure residents' needs are understood and met.
- Arrange access appointments, distribute notices, and assist in resolving any issues or complaints efficiently and professionally.
- Attend and support resident meetings, open days, and community engagement events.
- Keep accurate records of resident interactions, access arrangements, and any special requirements.
- Ensure residents' homes are treated with care and respect during all works.

Who You Are
- Previous experience in a Resident Liaison Officer, Customer Service, or Housing Support role (ideally within social housing, regeneration, or construction environments).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust quickly.

- Empathetic and patient, with a professional and approachable manner.
