About the service:

At present we require a Social Worker in the Mid-Ulster area, delivering intensive tenancy support to those at risk of homelessness. The Multidisciplinary Homeless Support Team (MDHST) has operated since 2006, through the Belfast team and in recent years, dispersed outreach in Mid Ulster, South Eastern region and Enniskillen.

The team offer a range of professional interventions and have developed successful partnerships with core agencies across the statutory, voluntary and community sectors to advocate for appropriate service provision and support planning with the aim of realising the potential of each service user.

The Social Work value base underpins this role as does the spirit of co-production and teamwork. This is a rewarding Social Work role which promotes innovative practice, professional development and offers a broad range of opportunities and is suited to those who relish challenge and prioritise change. All Social Workers must meet the essential criteria outlined in the Person Specification contained in this document.
