Housing Manager

Hours: 35 hours per week.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 9‑5 (negotiable). Option for a 9‑day fortnight.

As Housing Manager, you will manage the day‑to‑day delivery of housing management services within a designated Extra Care scheme, ensuring properties are safe, well‑maintained, and meet residents' needs, enabling them to live well with dignity and autonomy.

You will oversee upkeep and maintenance of all properties, ensure they meet a high standard of living, and are 100% compliant with regulations. You will schedule repairs, manage contractor relationships, focusing on high standards and value for money.

Your customer‑service skills are essential; you will ensure residents feel heard and that any housing‑related concerns are addressed as a priority. You will welcome new residents to the scheme and encourage engagement with activities and events.

What we’re looking for

• Proven housing management experience
• Strong understanding of health & safety and RoSH regulations
• Experience of managing and scheduling property maintenance
• Excellent organisational skills, including tenancy management
• Level 4 Senior Housing & Property Management Apprenticeship / CIH Level 4, or willingness to work towards it if not held
