What you will do:

  • Support the Coastal Housing Manager in delivering an effective and responsive supported housing service, managing a team that provides crucial support to individuals with severe mental health issues, including dual diagnosis.
  • Develop and nurture positive relationships with service users, offering guidance and information in both one-to-one and group settings.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with local organisations, including NSFT, Adult Social Care, Suffolk County Council, and Housing Associations, to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Manage and develop staff and volunteers through setting measurable objectives that align with organisational goals.
  • Oversee rota management to ensure safe staffing levels, compliance with statutory requirements, and good employment practices.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the annual service development plan, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth within the service.
  • Maintain high standards of client care, ensuring person-centred support and risk assessments are effectively implemented and maintained.
  • Take responsibility for petty cash records and act as a signatory for minor expenditures within the housing service.
