Housing Officer
Location: Cambuslang Gate
Hours: 35hrs per week, permanent
Work Pattern: Monday - Thursday 8.45am - 4.45pm, Friday 8.45am - 4.15pm
Salary / Hourly Rate: £29,326 - £34,399
Responsibilities
Deliver a wide range of housing services to customers, including homelessness, allocations, estate management, rent recovery, and anti‑social behaviour. Provide support and advice within a housing‑related environment, demonstrating understanding of current legislation and issues. Organise and prioritise workload effectively, responding quickly to changing priorities to maintain a quality service. Liaise effectively with a variety of agencies and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Similar experience of working within a housing‑related environment
- Understanding of current issues and legislation relating to homelessness, allocations, estate management, rent recovery and anti‑social behaviour
- Excellent IT skills and the ability to organise and prioritise workload
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of agencies
