Bridge - Housing Support Co-ordinator (BTAS) in Bradford

Working in partnership, Waythrough and The Bridge Project deliver the Bradford Temporary Accommodation Service on behalf of Bradford Metropolitan District Council, providing safe, supportive, and temporary accommodation for women who present as homeless to the Local Authority.

As a Housing Support Coordinator, you will play a key role in empowering women to achieve greater stability, independence, and positive outcomes. The service supports women who have experienced homelessness and may also have a history of offending, vulnerabilities, complex support needs, or be at risk of involvement with the criminal justice system.

Based across Bradford and Keighley, you will work alongside individuals living in temporary accommodation, providing person-centred support tailored to their unique circumstances. Your role will involve helping women to address housing issues, overcome barriers to independence, and access the services and opportunities they need to rebuild their lives.

Please note that this position is delivered on a rolling rota framework and requires the successful candidate to work a range of shift patterns, including early shifts, to ensure continuous service provision. Depending on operational requirements, shifts may also include evenings, weekends, and public holidays. The nature of the role demands a flexible and responsive approach, ensuring that residents receive timely support, safeguarding interventions, and housing management assistance whenever needed.

It is essential that you have a driving licence with access to a vehicle and business insurance for this role. A willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check is also a requirement of the post (the results of which would not necessarily exclude applicants from consideration).
