Housing Officer (Complex Case Team)
Permanent, Full time (37 hours per week)
Up to £37,000 per annum, including car allowance - Based on skills and experience
We are looking for a self‑motivated individual, preferably with Housing Management experience to manage safeguarding and complex anti‑social behaviour (ASB), ensuring a strong customer focus at all times.
What you will be doing:
- Managing safeguarding and complex ASB cases for the Home Team, ensuring legislation is followed and focusing on long term solutions.
- Managing cases where a greater focus or intervention is required.
- Working alongside the generic Housing Officers to ensure that comprehensive, consistent services are provided to our customers, ensuring they are at the heart of everything we do.
- Working closely with internal and external partners to ensure a seamless and wholistic offering to customers.
- Ensuring that tenancies are managed appropriately according to the circumstances of the household, making referrals and signposting for support as necessary.
- Working with customers with complex lives to ensure that property
We'd love to meet someone with:
- Excellent customer service skills putting the customer at the heart of what we do
- Good problem‑solving, negotiation and influencing skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Experience of working in partnership with internal teams and external organisations to achieve shared goals
Please note the successful candidate will need to complete a Basic DBS application.
