Our Supported Housing teams work hard to deliver excellent housing management services to our residents to help them attain the best outcomes possible. This work makes a direct and positive impact on thousands of vulnerable people every day. Our Agency Managed portfolio is a central part of our purpose: working with around 30 different managing agencies that support our most vulnerable residents across approximately 1,300 properties. The Agency Contracts Manager role is crucial to ensuring managing agents deliver services of the highest quality.

As Agency Contracts Manager, you will have in-depth knowledge of the supported housing sector and housing management processes at a large Registered Provider, along with the strategic thinking required to improve our practices and maximise our housing portfolio. You will have experience of overseeing management agreements for a landlord or delivering on management agreements as the managing agent. This experience will enable you to understand our customers' varied needs and how to ensure the managing agents deliver a great service to them.

How you'll do it:

  • Establish and maintain a culture of service improvement, supporting your team to deliver our KPIs and evolving customer needs.
  • Advocate for customers, leading by example to demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders and partners, promoting and representing NHG at the appropriate levels.
  • Work with commissioning authorities and management agents to agree client groups and appropriate housing management contracts for our properties.
  • Maximise income and minimise risk to NHG and our customers, ensuring appropriate checks and controls are in place.

The Ideal Candidate:

We need your ability to manage and lead by example and support your team to solve problems as well as empowering them to provide outstanding services to our vulnerable customers. This is a challenging and rewarding role. You'll need to be adept at staff management, have experience in multi-layered stakeholder engagement, have strong contract management skills, and a passion for excellent customer service. Essential:

  • Proven leadership in exceeding KPIs and delivering excellent services to residents.
  • Experience of overseeing management agreements for a landlord or delivering on management agreements as the managing agent with an eye for detail.
  • Understanding of customer needs in supported housing and the impacts on housing management.
  • Experience of managing conflict between stakeholders.

Desirable:

  • Relevant qualification in housing or management background.
