The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

The Tax Analyst will sit within the European Tax Team and will be based in Glasgow, reporting to the European Tax Manager. This role will have responsibility for ensuring Cigna Europe’s tax compliance is operating efficiently within the Finance function. This role will be responsible for all taxes including Corporation Tax, Transfer Pricing, WHT, VAT and IPT.

The aim of the Tax Team is to ensure that all tax obligations are prepared accurately and on time.

Duties & Responsibilities:

You will be working as a member of the tax team to provide tax compliance and advisory services including:

  • Working with external tax advisors on the preparation of UK and overseas corporate tax returns for various companies within the Cigna Group
  • Preparation of tax accounting and tax disclosures for statutory accounts purposes
  • Annual and quarterly ETR reporting under local and US GAAP for the Group
  • Assisting with implementation of BEPS actions (e.g. Country by Country Reporting, Transfer Pricing Master and Local Files)
  • Assisting in the preparation and submission of monthly/quarterly/annual VAT returns
  • Providing support on other key tax areas such as withholding tax and IPT
  • Assisting with ad hoc planning work and supporting key tax projects
