Are you enthusiastic about technology and innovation? Do you thrive on optimizing processes and leading teams to success? We are looking for a dynamic Finance Transformation Lead to drive our finance automation and process optimization efforts across multiple teams and geographies.

As the Finance Transformation Lead, you will manage a small team of automation experts and collaborate with a wider community of Citizen Developers. Your technical expertise will be crucial as you deliver end-to-end automation solutions, reducing manual effort across Finance. You will gather requirements, design solutions, and build them using tools like Alteryx, Tableau, and Python. You will also guide and support other Citizen Developers, manage the project kanban board, and ensure we meet our annual automation goals. Collaborating closely with our Data & Analytics and Technology partners, you will optimize solution architecture, introduce new technologies, and maximize the use of our data resources.

The role includes a component of research and innovation, offering you the autonomy to explore new tools and methodologies to help shape the future of the Finance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Lead and manage a team of automation experts and provide support and governance structure to a wider group of Citizen Developers.
  • Collaborate and Innovate: Collaborate with Citizen Developers to deliver E2E automation solutions.
  • Business Analysis: Identify automation opportunities, assess feasibility and benefits, gather requirements, design solutions.
  • Technical Delivery: hands on solution build and troubleshooting – build solutions using Alteryx, Tableau, Python, etc., maintain existing assets
  • Governance : Guide automation opportunities through intake, prioritisation, and sign off.
  • Mentorship and Training : Provide guidance and technical assistance to Citizen Developers, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Champion Innovation: Research and implement new technologies to continuously improve our processes and solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by driving and following up on enhancements, measuring their effectiveness.
  • Build Relationships: Work closely with other functions, particularly Technology and Data & Analytics to optimise solution architecture and minimise technological debt

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in relevant roles
  • Proven history of problem solving and analytical skills and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong Business Analysis and Project Management skills
  • Experience in Alteryx and/or Tableau or other automation and BI solutions
  • Knowledge of SQL or Python desirable
  • Prior experience in Finance roles or a good grasp of financial processes is desirable
