Actuarial Manager

Job Title: Lead Actuary – IOH Pricing & Consulting

Responsible for leading the IOH Actuarial pricing and consulting team, reporting to the Head of Pricing and Consulting. The role involves overseeing forecasting, pricing studies, and the development of new pricing approaches.

1. Key Responsibilities:
2. Establish quarterly forecasts and perform monthly roll-forward analysis.
3. Complete pricing studies in line with industry best practices under supervision.
4. Test and implement innovative pricing strategies, including new variables and efficiencies.

Effective communication with business partners is essential to provide insights and updates on emerging results and outlooks.

• Develop a strong understanding of business and actuarial processes to deliver clear updates.
• Build and maintain relationships with partners such as finance, FP&A, accounting, compliance, and claims operations.

Staff Leadership and Development:

• Lead and develop a team of actuaries to meet goals ethically and compliantly.
• Foster a supportive environment with training, feedback, exam support, and career guidance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\’s degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field (strongly preferred).
• At least 5 years of actuarial experience (preferred).
• FSA designation is preferred.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
