The Position: Reporting to the Telemarketing Team Leader, you will be responsible for assisting in leading the sales team. The team has 9 β 12 telemarketing representatives and the key focus of the role is to lead, coach and develop them to ensure that targets are achieved in a compliant manner. You will be expected to support the team as well as maintain your own targets. A clear understanding of managing or coaching an inbound team is vital.
Main Duties / Responsibilities
- To deputise in manager's absence.
- Dealing with call audit issues β feeding back to team members.
- Coaching and sharing best practice amongst the team.
- Lead team meetings.
- Compiling reports.
- Sending sales updates.
- Addressing system issues.
- Liaising with key stakeholders e.g. IT, Underwriting, Actuaries.
- Assisting with training of new staff.
- Identify potential improvements and make recommendations to management.
- Actively support all team members and provide assistance to enable all operational goals to be achieved.
Skills / Experience
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding ANP target.
- Strong customer focus with ability to identify and solve problems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to exercise judgement.
- Ability to organise, prioritise and manage workflow to meet individual and team requirements.

- Basic system navigation and Microsoft application skills.
