The Position: Reporting to the Telemarketing Team Leader, you will be responsible for assisting in leading the sales team. The team has 9 – 12 telemarketing representatives and the key focus of the role is to lead, coach and develop them to ensure that targets are achieved in a compliant manner. You will be expected to support the team as well as maintain your own targets. A clear understanding of managing or coaching an inbound team is vital.

Main Duties / Responsibilities

  • To deputise in manager's absence.
  • Dealing with call audit issues – feeding back to team members.
  • Coaching and sharing best practice amongst the team.
  • Lead team meetings.
  • Compiling reports.
  • Sending sales updates.
  • Addressing system issues.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders e.g. IT, Underwriting, Actuaries.
  • Assisting with training of new staff.
  • Identify potential improvements and make recommendations to management.
  • Actively support all team members and provide assistance to enable all operational goals to be achieved.

Skills / Experience

  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding ANP target.
  • Strong customer focus with ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to exercise judgement.
  • Ability to organise, prioritise and manage workflow to meet individual and team requirements.
  • The ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Basic system navigation and Microsoft application skills.
  • Good keyboard skills.
  • Regulatory awareness.
  • Preferable experience of an advised sales process.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work under own initiative and be proactive.
