About The Role

Reporting into the Financial Director, you will be responsible for supporting the management of tax affairs of the group for the EMEA region across all taxes. The EMEA tax team consists of 2 additional persons who cover both indirect and direct taxes across the region, with tax compliance support provided by a third party. This is a hybrid role where you would be in the office 2 days max per week and work the rest from home.

You'll Be Responsible For:

  • Ensuring the group meets & maintains its compliance obligations
  • Providing third party with data as required, and resolving any issues with data quality
  • Responding to compliance related queries
  • Review filings prior to submission
  • Support the preparation of the group’s global transfer pricing documentation and compliance requirements
  • Oversee the posting of journals and processing of payments
  • Quarterly calculations of tax provisions

You will also be responsible for providing a broad range of tax advisory services including:

  • Responding to all tax audits – internal, external and tax authorities
  • Lead implementation of Pillar 2 across EMEA
  • Monitoring the controls framework
  • Resolving any issues escalated by compliance provider
  • Compliance obligations outside scope of external service provider
  • Technical advice to the business and tax planning
  • Implementing process improvement
  • Managing impact of relevant changes in tax legislation

What You'll Bring to the Role:

  • CA/CTA or equivalent qualification essential
  • Previous experience in international tax with working knowledge of UK & US GAAP
  • Experience of Oracle and OneSource Tax Provision preferable
  • Ability to develop good relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to manage transformational change
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects
