Must have strong Dynamics 365 knowledge within finance. We are looking for a Management Accountant with strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) experience to play a key role in transforming a manufacturing company’s finance systems and reporting. You will be a commercially minded finance professional to take ownership of financial reporting, process improvement, and ERP optimisation, with a particular focus on leveraging D365 to drive group reporting and insights.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting while playing a pivotal role in enhancing and maintaining our D365 ERP environment. This is a hands‑on position combining core accounting responsibilities with systems and process improvement, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis
  • Lead month‑end processes including journals, reconciliations, accruals, and prepayments
  • Own and enhance group reporting within Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Maintain and improve financial data integrity and reporting structures in D365
  • Produce cash flow forecasts, budgets, and financial analysis
  • Deliver VAT returns and ensure compliance (MTD)
  • Support audit preparation and annual budgeting process
  • Provide sales and margin analysis to support decision‑making
  • Collaborate across teams and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements—especially within D365

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant (ideally in manufacturing)
  • Strong, hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (essential)
  • Experience setting up and maintaining group reporting in D365
  • Solid understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
