Role OverviewWe are looking for a PMO professional to support the operational backbone of the Service Partner Management (SPM) function. This role ensures smooth day-to-day execution across forecasting, RFQ management, partner requests, and operational coordination with Customer Operations. You will also support efficient and structured partner onboarding across our global ecosystem.
SPM manages Ciena's global partner ecosystem responsible for delivering services to our customers. We ensure partners are commercially competitive, operationally ready, and aligned with Ciena's quality and performance expectations. Our mission is to create a best-in-class partner ecosystem that enables outstanding customer delivery.
How You Will Contribute- Manage the day-to-day operational cadence for SPM across regions.
- Own partner forecasting and maintain accuracy of demand and capacity data.
- Coordinate and track RFQ activity, ensuring timely responses and data governance.
- Support Customer Operations with tactical partner-related queries and escalations.
- Coordinate partner onboarding activities, documentation, and readiness checks.
- Maintain structured trackers, dashboards, and routine reporting.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and propose pragmatic solutions.
- Ensure consistent adherence to SPM processes and governance standards.
- 0-3 years' experience in PMO, operations, business support or delivery coordination.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple parallel tasks and follow through reliably.
- Confident communicator who can work across teams and functions.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and data-driven reporting.
- Process-oriented mindset with a passion for structure and clarity.
- Experience in telecoms, services, delivery or partner ecosystems.
- Familiarity with RFQs, forecasting cycles, or capacity planning.
- Exposure to customer-facing operational roles.
- Experience with AI driven efficiency.
