The SVP - Value Stream Trent 7000 is the leader accountable for the end-to-end performance of one of Rolls-Royce’s flagship civil engine programmes. This role carries full enterprise P&L ownership across the Trent 7000 lifecycle, spanning aftermarket services, fleet performance and long-term value generation. The SVP is responsible for delivering sustainable profitability, strong cash generation and long-term platform competitiveness while ensuring world-class product reliability and operational excellence.
Operating within the Trent Fleet & Mature Engines value stream, the role oversees the complete commercial and operational performance of the Trent 7000 programme. The value stream model brings together engineering, operations, supply chain, aftermarket and commercial teams into a single integrated organisation accountable for delivering programme profitability from engine delivery through to the full lifecycle of the fleet in service. The SVP will lead the integrated value stream organisation to ensure alignment across all functions, mobilising cross-functional teams to maximise lifecycle value, strengthen customer relationships and maintain Rolls-Royce’s leadership position in widebody propulsion.
Key Responsibilities- Own the end-to-end Trent 7000 value stream P&L, delivering revenue growth, margin expansion and cash generation across the engine lifecycle.
- Lead commercial strategy and execution to maximise lifecycle value from both original equipment and aftermarket services.
- Drive disciplined capital allocation and investment decisions to optimise long-term returns.
- Improve fleet reliability, time on wing and shop visits to enhance lifecycle profitability and customer value.
- Translate operational, engineering and fleet performance into clear financial outcomes and value drivers.
- Implement strategies to maximise revenue while reducing cost and operational complexity.

The successful candidate will be a proven enterprise leader capable of operating at the intersection of commercial, operational and engineering excellence. This role requires a leader who can combine strong financial and commercial leadership with deep technical understanding to drive lifecycle value across a complex global product platform.
Experience- Proven P&L leadership in a complex, high-value global business environment, with the ability to optimise revenue, control costs and deliver strong financial performance.
- Engineering background or strong technical credibility, enabling effective engagement with engineering and product teams on reliability, fleet performance and lifecycle cost drivers.
- Significant experience operating within aftermarket services or lifecycle-based business models, including long-term service agreements.
- Strong commercial capability with experience managing strategic customers and complex negotiations.
- Deep financial acumen with the ability to translate operational and technical performance into profitability, cash generation and return on capital.
- Experience leading large cross-functional organisations across engineering, operations, supply chain and commercial functions.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle economics, reliability and fleet performance drivers.
- Experience operating within a highly regulated environment with responsibility for product safety and regulatory compliance.
- Experience within commercial aviation or complex engineered product industries with significant aftermarket revenue streams is highly desirable.
A significant proportion of programme profitability is generated through the aftermarket lifecycle of the installed fleet, and the SVP will play a critical role in maximising long-term value through service strategy, reliability improvements and lifecycle commercial optimisation.
