Job Description
Co‐ordinate the delivery of Urban Hubs revenue and GOPBD goals across countries and product Use Cases (Verticals). Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in specific product Use Cases. Co‐ordinate Urban Hubs performance across allocated countries, ensuring support for new and existing products. Lead evaluation of new product proposals, and support Strategic development of Urban Hubs.
This role involves bringing together all of APCOA's European markets to design and deliver products that work for all. A good degree of working in a matrix organization, where delivery is achieved by collaboration and providing clarity and purpose is needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business Development
- Be the SME for, and co‐ordinate work across, allocated Products areas. Grow revenues and develop the product offer. Current range consists of:
- New Digital products – Software as a Service (SaaS) for key segments, App marketplace product development
- Document Business requirements and work alongside the development teams to plan and deliver new products and functionality to market
- Define and develop reporting and tracking tools for both regular commercial activity and project development
- Pan European / Global partnerships with framework agreements
- Car Leasing
- Car rental
- Logistics
- Third party parking apps / digital services
- Site Activation / Local Sales - Fleet Contracts, charging deals, site specific revenue generation
- EV Charging
- Logistics – hubs, lockers
- Mobility – hubs, back office services
- Parking intermediaries (e.g. EasyPark, paybyphone)
- Other services (e.g.) Advertising / local partner offers
- Valet parking
- Cleaning
- Premium parking zones
- Entertainment, catering
- Work with partners across all markets to develop the service, define the product specifications, including core operational, technical and commercial requirements.
- Ensure that processes are clearly mapped and managed end to end, to include edge cases and exception handling.
- Ensure that key markets are involved in key design and sign off stages, and ensure that all countries have visibility of the product development.
- Communicate with all levels of teams in countries to show them the value of the products being developed.
- Model financial benefits to both parties, consider best and worst case scenarios, and ensure there is clarity on key metrics such as GOPBD, payback periods, CAPEX requirements and development costs.
- Drive implementation of partnerships through active market research and commercial engagement.
- Arrange introductions between prospective partners and country teams.
- Country Support
- Be the champion for each country within the UH team and across the wider Group organisation
- Hold regular meetings with allocated markets to sync on priorities, active rollouts, and partnership support needs.
- Create pitch decks, partner presentations, and site documentation.
- Use AI tools and programming for market research and to generate leads.
- When requested by countries / partners, leverage tech tools for data analysis and visualisations.
- Track project timelines and help structure offers.
- Represent Urban Hubs at conferences, trade fairs, and networking events twice a year.
- Use events as a platform to pitch UH to prospective fleet, mobility, and logistics players.
- From time to time the work required will fall outside these areas, and the individual is expected to be able to plan, with support, where their skills can add value to other activity.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product development or project management.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with datasets and reporting tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or Excel to consolidate operational and financial performance.
- Demonstrable ability to work effectively within a matrix organisation, delivering through collaboration.
- Strong financial acumen — able to model scenarios, interpret key metrics (GOPBD, CAPEX, payback periods), and present data‐driven insights clearly.
- Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g. Microsoft 365, project management platforms).
Highly Desirable
- Experience launching new products, either within large organisations or start‐up environments.
- Familiarity with SaaS products, digital platform development, or mobility/parking technology ecosystems.
- Experience managing or engaging with pan‐European or multi‐market partnerships.
- Additional language skills (European languages advantageous given the scope of markets covered).
- Experience with AI tools for market research or lead generation.
