Laban, Europe’s leading conservatoire for contemporary dance training, is offering excellent training opportunities for graduates interested in starting their careers in Dance Science. Situated in south-east London, Laban is located in a new building specially designed for dance, which was voted RIBA Building of the Year 2003.
The Dance Science Graduate Internship will provide support for students who are studying on the MSc programme and assist dance science colleagues with research and other dance science activities/events. They will be responsible for teaching the Lab Skills component of the MSc programme and help ensure that students have the necessary skills to use the equipment properly and work with participants responsibly.
You should have a postgraduate degree in dance science, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work as part of a team. You should be able to demonstrate initiative and work independently when necessary.
The contract is from 28th November 2011 – 21st September 2012. The salary for the contract is £3,678.22. For a job pack and application form, please see the Trinity Laban website.
