  • Pay Range: L8–12

Part of the Senior Leadership Team from January 2027. Directly accountable to the Headteacher, supporting the day‑to‑day management of the school.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Headteacher in the day‑to‑day management of the school across its delivery.
  • Share responsibility with the current Assistant Headteacher, ensuring complementary work streams and strengths.
  • Work strategically and operationally to improve school outcomes, including SEND/SEND‑LAC provision.
  • Lead the English curriculum, delivering phonics and English daily to a range of ages and abilities.
  • Maintain the positive ethos and culture of the school while driving whole‑school improvement.
  • Provide leadership that exemplifies resilience, creativity, and solution‑focused problem‑solving in a dynamic environment.

  • Demonstrated expertise in SEND/LAC provision, staff training development, and fostering an inclusive culture.
