Supply & Sourcing Executive Central London 4 days on/4days off The Opportunity We are looking for a proactive and organised Supply & Sourcing Professional to join a growing business within the fresh food sector. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a collaborative, agile team where you'll play a key role in managing the movement of fresh food from a global network of UK and international suppliers through to customers. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll have the autonomy to make decisions, build strong relationships across the supply chain, and develop into the supply chain expert for your customer accounts. No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving and working at pace. The Role You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of products from suppliers to customers, maintaining excellent service levels while communicating effectively with all stakeholders throughout the supply chain. Key Responsibilities * Manage stock levels and supplier orders, maintaining regular communication with suppliers. * Coordinate daily customer orders to ensure excellent service levels are achieved. * Prepare daily freight plans to ensure products arrive on time and in full. * Work closely with Commercial and Technical teams to manage changes in customer requirements and supplier availability. * Proactively communicate with customers regarding supply updates, changes and any supply chain issues. * Monitor product availability, responding quickly to shortages or excess stock to minimise waste and maximise service. * Develop and maintain strong working relationships with growers, suppliers, logistics providers and customers. * Ensure accurate administration and timely communication across all aspects of the supply chain. * Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and support continuous improvement within the supply chain. About You The successful candidate will be highly organised, commercially aware and thrive in a fast-moving environment. You will ideally have: * Previous experience within supply chain, sourcing, procurement or operations, ideally within fresh produce, food manufacturing or FMCG. * Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. * Strong communication and relationship-building abilities. * A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the confidence to make decisions. * High attention to detail and strong administrative skills. * The ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments. * A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
