They are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their existing team.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will focus on managing design projects from initial concept to delivery, gathering technical specifications and creating detailed 2D & 3D designs using CAD software.
- Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D & 3D designs of technical machinery and equipment using CAD software.
- Manage design projects from initial concept through to delivery.
- Review and update legacy designs when required.
- Understand the client s needs and create custom mechanical solutions that would work best for the team.
- Provide technical support to the Applications Team and Commissioning Teams.
- Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements
- Previous experience working in a Design Engineer or equivalent position.
- Experienced in managing design projects from initial concept through to delivery.
- Proven experience in creating detailed designs using CAD packages such as Solid Works.
- Knowledge of engineering analysis tools such as ANSYS would be beneficial.
- Much has experience in creating design projects that involve moving parts.
- Must be a team player.
