Our client, an international engineering organisation with a base near Winchester, is now looking to recruit a Design Engineer (3D) to join the business on a permanent basis.
Primary Role Functions
- To create/generate/design 3D assemblies from preliminary layout drawings and concepts with the aim to then produce 2D GA and detail drawings for fabrication.
Job Requirements
- Hold clean UK driving license.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar related degree).
- 5+ years related job experience.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of mechanical design and its application in industrial designs including knowledge/specification of hydraulic systems, motors & mechanical systems.
- Critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills, able to work independently or in team environment.
- Efficiently organise and plan work tasks to meet company goals.
- Proactive, resourceful & highly motivated with good communication skills and ability to work in high output environment.
- Travel as required to support projects.
