I am currently recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a leading engineering organisation based in South Yorkshire. Salary up to 55,000 + Benefits.
The organisation are market leaders within their field delivering world class technology solutions into specialist markets. They employ close to 100 experts within their areas of expertise and supply their highly sophisticated equipment they design to clients all over the globe.
In this role as a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key part in managing the full lifecycle of projects from concept through to completion, as well as making modifications and alterations to existing equipment. You will also be given the opportunity to travel to customers to conduct site surveys ahead of the design work commencing and you could also attend sites to oversee the installation of the equipment, however this isn’t a necessity and if travel doesn’t appeal or you can’t then you don’t need to.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 Years experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer or similar
- Experience with 3D CAD (Ideally Inventor)
- Experience designing for sheet metal fabrication
- Experience designing CNC machined components
- Experience of designing Pipework / P&IDs
- Experience of designing Plant layouts
