An established and growing fire safety consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Fire Engineer to support a diverse range of residential and commercial projects across the UK. The company provides a full suite of fire safety services, including fire strategies, fire engineering consultancy, FRAEW and EWS1 assessments, and fire risk assessments.
This position will suit a qualified fire engineer with several years of experience in a commercial consultancy environment who is comfortable leading on projects and supporting junior members of the team.
Responsibilities- Lead and deliver fire strategies, fire engineering designs, and FRAEW/EWS1 assessments
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining technical and regulatory standards
- Provide mentoring and support to junior and graduate engineers
- Liaise directly with clients, design teams, and approving authorities to deliver compliant solutions
- Work largely remotely, with occasional site and client meetings as required
- Take ownership of project delivery to help free up the Technical Director for strategic oversight
- Salary: £60,000–£80,000 depending on experience
- Flexible working structure
- 28 days annual leave plus Christmas shutdown
