Turner Property Recruitment are delighted to be assisting their client in the search for an Associate Electrical Engineer to join a well‑established MEP team delivering high‑quality design across a diverse project portfolio. This is a senior opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead projects and teams, working across sectors including science and research, advanced manufacturing, motorsport, education, defence, commercial and residential.

You will take a key role in leading MEP design delivery, managing project teams and maintaining strong client relationships, while contributing to the continued growth of the business.

The Role

  • Lead MEP engineering teams delivering a range of design projects
  • Act as lead engineer for electrical building services design from concept through to detailed stages
  • Manage project delivery, risk and commercial performance
  • Produce and oversee reports, drawings and specifications across RIBA stages
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers within the team
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, structural engineers and contractors
  • Attend client and technical meetings, providing clear and confident advice
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards and health and safety requirements

About You

  • Strong background in electrical building services design within a consultancy or contractor environment
  • Experience leading projects and managing teams
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
  • Chartered or working towards IEng or CEng status
  • Proficient in CAD and BIM tools including Revit
  • Strong commercial awareness and project management capability
  • Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
