Solihull Council’s hugely successful Property Services Team have a fantastic opportunity for a Client‑Side Project Manager to join its dedicated team to lead, manage and deliver a diverse mechanical projects portfolio across our corporate estate—ranging from school boiler refurbishments to low‑carbon installations that support our Net Zero Targets.
As Project Manager you will be responsible for the overall management of projects through all stages from inception to completion. Working closely alongside our delivery partner, you will ensure successful delivery of projects, meeting our customers’ expectations, ensuring they are on time, to the highest standard and within budget.
We’re looking for a Mechanical Project Manager who can run multiple projects concurrently, make sound and timely decisions, cultivate excellent relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, and give clear, customer‑focused technical advice to deliver the right solutions, first time.
As the ideal candidate, you will have experience delivering a wide range of projects as the Client‑side Project Manager, with previous experience related to mechanical, or energy related projects and able to demonstrate a proactive approach to contract management and working collaboratively with our Strategic Partner. You will be an effective communicator and customer focused, able to develop and maintain relationships with our customers and partners to support our business ambitions and generate income.
