Responsibilities
- Producing detailed manufacturing drawings of systems, products and layouts from 3D models (fabrication and assembly drawings including BOMs)
- Align P&IDs with 2D and 3D drawings
- Ensuring all drawing quality and continuity are up to company, customer and industry standards
- Making sure all drawing libraries and parts databases are up to date
- Working closely with the manufacturing department to ensure parts are manufactured to spec, and working to overcome manufacturing problems
- Issue all drawings and BOMs for manufacture through ERP system
Qualifications
- Degree level education expected
- Experience as a CAD Draughtsperson / Design Engineer within a fabrication industry
- Knowledge of food & beverage, pharma, industrial design
- Excellent user of Solidworks/AutoCAD/Inventor
- Excellent understanding of Design for Manufacture (DFM)
- Able to produce under pressure
