Responsibilities

  • Support and mentor colleagues to maintain high technical and design standards
  • Assist with project financial reporting and forecasting

What you will need to succeed

  • Experience in mechanical building services engineering (HVAC / public health / low‑carbon systems)
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with M&E, architectural, and structural teams
  • Proven experience in mechanical design, site surveys, and project delivery
  • Ability to manage complex projects, including budgets and final accounts
  • HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, or willingness to work towards it
  • Strong customer focus and a drive to improve building performance and user outcomes
  • Good problem‑solving skills and ability to prioritise in a busy project environment
  • Up‑to‑date knowledge of building regulations, legislation, sustainability standards, and industry best practice
  • Understanding of RIBA stages, mechanical systems design principles, and building services technologies
