Ready to step up to Associate? Enjoy collaborating with architects on both UK and international projects? This medium-sized Building Services Engineering Consultancy is growing, and now's the perfect time to join them as a Mechanical Associate. With offices in London and mainland Europe, they’ve kept winning major new projects and are looking for a Mechanical Associate to be part of their growth.
You’ll work directly with the directors and take the lead on diverse and high-profile projects. You’ll become an integral part of a close-knit and collaborative team of MEP Design Engineers, Revit Technicians, Sustainability Experts, and Building Physics Engineers. You’ll also mentor and manage a team of Mechanical Engineers at all levels, while helping drive innovation and best practices across the design process.
This consultancy is known for combining technical excellence with creativity and does every project in BIM as standard, producing detailed 3D models to coordinate designs and verify systems. But they also value the traditional touch; many of their engineers still sketch concepts alongside clients and architects with just a pencil and paper.
What sets them apart? A commitment to staff retention, genuine work-life balance, and a culture of innovation that has remained unchanged since the company’s founding. Great opportunity for a Mechanical Associate to join a team of around 30 individuals who are all passionate about designing low-energy, high-performance buildings.
What You’ll Need:
- At least 7 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within the built environment
- Degree qualified (Chartered status preferred - CEng, MIET)
- Strong knowledge of British Standards, CIBSE guidelines, and CDM regulations
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills
- A portfolio of projects taken from concept through to construction
