Turner Property Recruitment are delighted to be assisting their client in the search for an M&E Consultant to join a well-established consultancy delivering technical advisory services across a diverse portfolio of built assets. This role is ideal for a building services professional with a strong understanding of asset performance, condition surveying and lifecycle planning, looking to work across sectors including healthcare, commercial offices, retail and education.
You will be part of a client‑facing team providing technical insight across the full lifecycle of building services systems, from acquisition through to ongoing asset management.
The Role
- Undertake M&E condition surveys and asset inspections
- Deliver pre‑acquisition and technical due diligence reports
- Produce 10‑year planned preventative maintenance schedules
- Carry out dilapidations surveys and lifecycle assessments
- Monitor M&E works on site, ensuring quality and compliance
- Identify and verify building services assets, assessing condition and remaining life
- Support project and cost teams with technical advice and reporting
About You
- Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering or similar
- Working towards or already chartered MCIBSE or equivalent
- Experience in M&E asset surveying, FM, or site engineering environments
- Strong understanding of building services systems and lifecycle planning
- Experience producing technical reports and working with survey data
- Comfortable using digital tools and software such as Excel and tablet‑based systems
