A specialist building services engineering consultancy is looking to recruit a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its growing London team. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading the mechanical design of HVAC, public health and low‑carbon building services systems
- Managing projects through every stage of design and construction
- Producing and reviewing calculations, specifications and technical reports
- Coordinating with electrical, public health and sustainability engineers
- Leading client meetings, workshops and technical design reviews
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
- Supporting construction teams with technical queries and site inspections
- Helping identify opportunities for innovation, value engineering and sustainable design solutions
About You:
- Experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within a building services consultancy
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services design
- Experience leading projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
- A collaborative approach and a passion for delivering high‑quality engineering
- Chartered status, or working towards Chartership, would be advantageous
- Experience within healthcare or other technically demanding sectors would be beneficial but isn't essential.
