They are now looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Critical Systems team, leading design and delivery of high-quality mechanical systems in an efficient and sustainable way on technically challenging projects across data centres, commercial buildings, and other complex infrastructure environments.
What You'll Do
- Manage projects and coordinate engineering activities to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Produce and review designs, technical specifications, calculations, and reports.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to achieve integrated design solutions.
- Attend client and site meetings, providing technical insight and proactive communication.
- Support, mentor, and develop junior engineers and technicians.
- Promote best practice in health, safety, quality, and environmental performance.
About You
- Technically capable and collaborative engineer with a passion for delivering sustainable, forward-thinking mechanical design.
- A degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (Chartered or working towards).
- Strong experience in mechanical building services design consultancy.
- Proven ability to manage projects and guide junior team members.
- A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with great communication skills.
- An interest in high-performance buildings and critical environments (data centre experience a plus, but not essential—training provided).
