There are no fixed/required days in the office, and they will only ask people to travel for site visits, client meetings or the odd team meeting, which will usually be coupled with a social event too.
As an experienced Associate Electrical Engineer, you will be able to work autonomously and play a crucial role in their projects by assisting in the design and project management, which is mainly based on performance specifications and monitoring. They carry out diagnostic work for clients considering lease renewals and can often be called upon by their clients to fix mistakes made by previous consultancies.
Your responsibilities will encompass everything from early‑stage Scope of Works and Performance Specifications, Design Monitoring, Detailed Design, Project Management/Budgeting, Project Coordination, Licence to Alter and all‑round client advisory. Clients include small to large managing agents, surveyors, developers, and the MOD.
You will be expected to be an integral part of the growing team, contributing to the success of the projects, and maintaining their high standards of quality and compliance. You will have the opportunity to work on CAT A & CAT B design projects on predominantly existing buildings and some new builds across a variety of sectors including, Commercial, Education, Hotels, Residential and Healthcare.
