The Role

You’ll be joining a well-established civil engineering team delivering infrastructure design from concept through to detailed stages. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Designing highways, junctions, access roads and public realm layouts
  • Delivering drainage designs, including SuDS, foul and surface water systems
  • Preparing designs for Section 278, 38, 104 and 106 submissions
  • Working with Civil 3D, MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage and related software
  • Producing drawings, reports, specifications and technical calculations
  • Supporting senior engineers and liaising directly with clients, architects and local authorities
  • Contributing to project planning, design review meetings and technical approvals

  • Background in highways and/or drainage design
  • Strong working knowledge of Civil 3D and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage
  • Understanding of UK design standards (DMRB, MfS, SuDS etc.)
  • Experience producing drawings and technical documentation
  • Enthusiasm for progression and chartership development
