Turner Property Recruitment are delighted to be assisting their client in the search for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a well-established and growing engineering team delivering a wide range of technically diverse projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer looking to work across varied and high-profile schemes, gaining exposure to sectors including high-rise residential, commercial fit out, healthcare, defence, retail and large-scale developments. You will play a key role in delivering electrical design solutions while working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams across the full project lifecycle.

The Role

  • Produce electrical design calculations using software such as Amtech, Dialux and Relux
  • Deliver designs using CAD and BIM tools including Revit
  • Attend client and project meetings, presenting design solutions
  • Undertake condition surveys and technical assessments
  • Carry out third-party design reviews
  • Support project delivery from inception through to completion
  • Contribute to site monitoring and oversee installation works

About You

  • Degree qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
  • Experience in electrical design within consultancy or contractor environment
  • Working towards chartered status or keen to progress
  • Strong experience with design software including Amtech, Dialux or similar
  • Proficient in CAD and ideally Revit
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Motivated, organised and keen to develop
