Responsibilities- Lead the mechanical / electrical design on several small projects (up to £5M) or one medium sized project (up to £20M).
- Prepare mechanical/electrical design to our client’s specification.
- Contribute to overall project implementation.
- Attend internal and external meetings.
- Prepare design drawings in AutoCAD format as required.
- Formulate calculations as required (this includes any modelling as necessary).
- Be responsible for managing your deliverables within the agreed internal project costs.
- Write internal and external reports.
- Participate in quality control and document management in line with internal systems.
- Undertake design audits.
- Assist in building surveys as appropriate.
- Support the mentoring of junior staff.
- Working towards Chartered Status with a relevant body.
