Ideal for an experienced LV Design Engineer looking to step into a senior-level role with leadership responsibility, this position offers the chance to mentor engineers, lead technically challenging projects and work within a highly supportive business focused on long-term career development.
The Role
- Lead LV design activities across multiple engineering projects
- Support and mentor LV Design Engineers, providing technical guidance and development
- Review electrical schematics, calculations and technical documentation
- Work closely with Project Managers and Project Leads to ensure successful project delivery
- Attend client sites to carry out compliance reporting on existing LV Assemblies
- Lead complex site migration projects, supporting LV Engineers and site teams
- Deliver practical, compliant and client–focused LV engineering solutions
- Support risk mitigation and minimise operational downtime during project execution
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience as an LV Design Engineer
- In–depth technical knowledge of LV Assemblies and electrical systems
- Experience delivering safe, reliable and compliant LV design solutions
- Solid communication and leadership skills
- Collaborative and supportive approach to team and project delivery
- Passion for mentoring and developing junior engineers
- Ability to provide practical and customer–focused engineering solutions
