Our client, a leading multi-disciplinary property consultancy and trusted advisor, is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team. They offer Architecture and Design, Project Management, Surveying, Engineering, and Energy & Sustainability services across the UK, supporting projects from concept through delivery with sustainability at the core.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you will lead and manage civil engineering projects, work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, and oversee design, staff, and project delivery.
What You’ll Do:
- Be fully immersed in projects: design work, staff management, and client-facing activities.
- Lead the design and development of highways, drainage systems, infrastructure.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations, planning requirements, and industry standards.
- Proactively solve technical challenges and provide innovative engineering solutions.
- Support quality assurance and ensure adherence to health, safety, and sustainability standards (CDM 2015).
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experienced in residential developments, particularly large, long-life-span projects (300–400 plots, often in Belwair countryside settings).
- Comfortable managing all aspects of civil engineering projects, from design to delivery.
- Proficient in 3D modelling using Civil 3D.
- Holds or working towards a relevant degree/apprenticeship and corporate membership with ICE.
- Able to collaborate effectively with clients and multi-disciplinary teams.
