Turner Property Recruitment are delighted to be assisting their client in the search for an Electrical Engineer to join a growing Built Asset Consultancy team in the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer looking to develop within a consultancy environment, gaining exposure across design, technical advisory and asset surveying work across sectors including public, commercial, education and environmental projects.
You will support the delivery of electrical design and advisory services from early feasibility through to project completion, working closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
The Role- Support electrical design from RIBA Stage 0 to 4
- Undertake feasibility studies and technical assessments
- Produce electrical drawings and assist with tender documentation
- Carry out electrical condition, PPM and pre-acquisition surveys
- Support technical advisory roles and contractor design reviews
- Monitor electrical works on site, ensuring quality and compliance
- Work closely with internal teams to support project delivery
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Working towards or interested in achieving MCIBSE or equivalent
- Experience in consultancy or site-based electrical engineering
- Understanding of electrical design across RIBA stages
- Experience or interest in asset surveying and technical due diligence
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Revit experience beneficial but not essential
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
