Mechanical Design Engineer required. Our client is a well–established and growing industrial solutions provider, supporting customers across a broad range of manufacturing and engineering sectors throughout the UK. They deliver a comprehensive range of engineering services including fabrication and machining.
Position Overview
- Overseeing design processes from concept design through to full manufacture, with the use of Solidworks
- Carrying out reverse engineering of parts for manufacture
- Occasional travel to customer sites for surveys and measurements
- Producing bills of materials for products
- Working closely with other members of the Engineering team to ensure objectives are met.
Position Requirements
- Experience of 3D CAD software, Preferably Solidworks
- 2+ years of experience within a Mechanical Design Engineering role
- Degree qualified within a Mechanical Engineering or Design related subject is desirable
- Experience of reverse engineering is desirable
- Ability to use own initiative
- Based in a commutable distance of Bicester, Oxfordshire
Position Remuneration
- Salary: 35,000 – 45,000 depending on experience
- Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00. Permanent position.
- Overtime available depending on business requirements
- 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays.
