I'm working with a well–established FM and building services specialist who is looking for a Static Mechanical Engineer to take responsibility for the day–to–day mechanical maintenance of a high–profile client site in Kensington Olympia.

The Role
As a Static Mechanical Building Services Engineer, you will be responsible for the full range of mechanical maintenance across the site, including:
- Planned preventative maintenance and reactive mechanical repairs
- Fault finding, diagnostics and remedial works
- Maintaining mechanical building services and associated plant
- Responding promptly to client requests and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently
- Carrying out regular inspections and identifying potential issues before they become problems
- Working closely with the client and wider facilities team
- Completing maintenance records and ensuring all works are carried out to a high standard
- Participating in the call–out rota, with additional hours paid as overtime

- Proven experience as a Mechanical Building Services Engineer
- Strong mechanical maintenance and fault–finding background
- Experience working within a commercial building services or FM environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Extremely professional, polite and client–focused

- A proactive attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond for the client
- Able to work independently and take ownership of the site
